Tropical Home Tiki Bar & Other Themes
Before the first drink is poured and people gather around, ready to enjoy another great party at your house, you first need to design the type of home bar you're going to have. Although many people may argue that it really doesn't matter what kind of bar is available, as long as the drinks are flowing freely, you would be surprised with what adding the proper bar can really do for your get-togethers. The fact of the matter is, your choices are almost unlimited as far as your home bar are concerned but in this particular case, we are going to look at three different designs. These would include the home sports bar, home tiki bar and the retro home bar. Home Tiki Bar The home tiki bar lends itself more to an outside environment but that doesn't mean that you can't have this type of a bar inside your home as well. Since you're dealing with more of an island theme, you will want to make sure that your decorating goes right along those lines. Tiki torches are a must if you're going to have a home bar such as this and this is a relatively easy thing to do if you are outdoors. For the indoors, however, you're going to have to get a little bit more creative so that you can still have the look that you want, without burning the house down in the process.

Home Retro Bar The retro home bar is going to give you more options and directions that you can go than almost any other type of home bar design. You should make sure, however, that you choose a particular era in which to mimic instead of just throwing things from a number of different time periods into the bar design. Most people tend to go with a retro home bar that is right along the lines of the design that was available when they were younger. The most important thing for you to include in a retro home bar is some very interesting collectors items. These will spawn some very interesting conversations among those of you who were familiar with the time period that you were going after and help you to build additional memories that go right along with those that you were trying to preserve in the first place. Home Sports Bar Sports bars have always been popular and although many people might think that they are only for men, women tend to congregate in sports bars as well. Perhaps this has more to do with the fact that the men are there rather than the decorating that goes into it. All that aside, a home sports bar can certainly give you an enjoyable environment to share with friends and family. Of course, the fact that it's a sports bar is going to make the theme rather easy to follow but a few things that you should make sure that you include are a large screen TV, a home bar refrigerator that is stocked with plenty of ice cold beer and some great collectors items which will spawn some interesting conversations.
