Cocktail Moments

A carefully crafted cocktail can contribute to a special sense of moment. When you combine that with music, setting and people things can get really good. Whether it's popping bubbly at New Years or just having a night cap at home we've all had a time like this.

I've plenty of great cocktail moments. One was sitting at the bar in the Edge Water hotel in Seattle, WA overlooking the sailboats in the Puget Sound. I was with my girl friend sipping on gin and tonic listening to the dj play some old soul records. It was really great because it was one of those rare moments where there was no sense of urgency.
