Chocolate Martini Recipes
Chocolate Martini
- 2oz vodka, I like to use a vanilla vodka.
- 1/2oz light creme de cacao (it's a chocolate flavored liqueur that comes light or dark).
- 1/2oz Godiva chocolate liqueur.
Shake the vodka and creme de cacao up together and strain into a martini glass. Then layer the Godiva chocolate liqueur. If you gently pour the 1/2oz of Godiva on the inside of the martini glass, it will automatically sink to the bottom giving you a cool layered effect. It's like having a Hershey's Kiss on the bottom of your martini.
Here is a second version. This martini recipe comes from a regular at where I work, so we dubbed it the Ode to Robert. It comes out tasting a bit like the candy bar Almond Joy.
- 2oz Godiva chocolate liqueur
- 1/4oz Frangelico hazelnut liqueur
- 1/4oz Malibu coconut rum
- 1/4oz vanilla flavored vodka
- 1/4oz of half and half
Shake all the ingredients cold and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a sprinkle of cocoa powder. Decadent but delicious.
